apartment living is flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;ve reached a stage where travel is becoming a larger part of our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether it&#8217;s a weekend away, a trip to Europe or visiting family overseas, apartments are often easier to leave for extended periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No garden maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No outdoor furniture to worry about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No constant list of class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community and Amenities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Modern apartment buildings often offer facilities that would be difficult to justify in a private home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the building, that might include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul every stage of life involves trade-offs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The question isn&#8217;t what we&#8217;re losing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The question is what we&#8217;re gaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking Forward<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more we progress through our downsizing journey, the more we realise this move isn&#8217;t really about property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s about lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s about creating a home that supports the next phase of life rather than the previous one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And while moving from a villa to an apartment may seem like a step down to some people, it feels very much like a step forward to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A simpler home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
